child is identical with that taste something sweet, be it candy, chocolate. surely all the children liked it. but do we realize that behind it all there is danger lurking.
curious about the dangers that lurk behind the sweetness of ordinary foods that children consumed?
The following explanation:

Sweetness indeed be a favorite of children, but when consumed in excess. And it is certainly a sweet taste comes from sugar.

Although the function of sugar to the body of the nutrients that can produce energy – derived from 4 kcal (kilo calories) per each gram of sugar – but if the sugar is consumed in excess, it will cause excess nutrients which is a risk factor for the onset of degenerative disease that could threaten children’s health later in life.

World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended that the intake of added sugars not exceed 10 percent of the total energy consumed to avoid excess energy in the child’s body.

That is, based on AKG (Figures Sufficiency Nutrition) Indonesia 2004, children aged 1-3 years, not recommended to consume more than 25 grams of added sugar / day (equivalent to 5 teaspoons) and 4-6 years of age does not exceed 38 grams of added sugar / day (equivalent to 8 teaspoons).

“Our results suggest that for a daily intake of sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose and lactose) contributes more than 10 percent of calories. And the most sugar was sucrose intake of 49.45 (11.10-126.90) grams, and most originate from milk,” explained Dr. . dr. Rini Sekartini, SP.A (K), a specialist in child development, while giving a presentation, in a press conference ‘Observe Additional Excess Sugar Intake On Children’s Milk’.

From the consumption of milk containing added sugar can analogous when children drank 3 cups of milk per day, the possibility of children consume 12 teaspoons of added sugar every day.

Basically, drinking milk is recommended to support the growth and development of the child, but who need watch out is whether in dairy products contain added sugar or not.

Thus, children can still drink milk safely, without fear of threat of obesity caused excessive intake of added sugar when drinking milk.
